On Saturday (Feb. 23), R. Kelly made his first court appearance after being charged with 10 counts of sexual abuse on four females ranging in the ages of 14-24 between the years 1998-2010. During the appearance the judged set a $1 million bond with the conditions. These conditions include turning in his passport, and avoiding contact with anyone 18 years old and younger.
After news broke about R. Kelly’s charges Friday (Feb. 22), the singer turned himself into the Chicago Police Department. Kelly is set to return back to court for another hearing on Feb. 25 at 9:00 AM and his arraignment is scheduled for Mar.8.
Ifconvicted, Kelly faces up to 70 years in jail.
