New photos of R. Kelly have surfaced online and social media have weighed in on how the singer looks.

In the photos, Kelly is seen wearing a long-sleeved white shirt with a green top, blue jeans, and white sneakers. So far, there has been no official confirmation of when they were taken.

As expected, social media had a lot to say about Kelly’s appearance.

Comedian Michael Blackson even expressed empathy for Kelly after viewing the photos on X (formerly Twitter).

“I was just looking at those R Kelly’s pics that surfaced yesterday while he’s in jail smh,” Blackson wrote. “I lowkey feel so sad for how his life turned out. We can’t judge him because we don’t know the full story but from being a superstar to life in prison damn. My prayers to him and those affected by him.”

Others suggested that the singer is looking well as an inmate.

“New photos of R. Kelly in prison surface. I’m going to be honest with you all it looks like he’s having too much fun in there,” one user commented.

In other R. Kelly news, his attorney Jennifer Bonjean blasted a sketch during SNL’s 50th anniversary special. and how it depicted her client. During the “In Memoriam” montage, an array of guests were featured in the segment but were charged and/or convicted of heinous crimes. Kelly, along with Diddy, OJ Simpson, Robert Blake, and others were listed as the audience laughed.

“Rather arrogant that SNL sees it as their job to decide, belatedly, who should and should not be canceled,” Bonjean said to TMZ.

Additionally, Kelly has yet to pay the six survivors from the “Surviving R. Kelly” documentary who were awarded a $10.3 million judgment in 2022. They claim they are still owed more than $9.9 million

Currently, the 58-year-old inmate is serving a 30-year prison sentence at the Federal Correctional Institute in Butner, North Carolina, following his conviction in September 2021 for sex trafficking.
