Ray J revealed that his heart is functioning at 25% after a recent hospital stay.
Taking to Instagram, Ray J shared his most recent diagnosis.
“Just almost died!! I’m alive because of your prayers and support,” Ray J wrote in the caption.
“I was in the hospital… my heart’s only beating like 25%, Ray J said. “But as long as I stay focused and stay on the right path, everything will be all right. So thank you for all your prayers.”
Ray J went on to speak about the effects of his heart problem.
That hurt ‘cause I got a bad heart… it threw my equilibrium off, it threw my whole left side off,” he said.
“It’s a few people who’ve helped me kind of survive this… just watching me be sick.”
Ray J then ended the video after having some physical struggles.
“God damn… trying to breathe… I got to take my pills now. I’m going to go upstairs and heal already.”
Following the updates of his health status, Ray J spoke about his reality TV streaming service, Tronix Network. The new network is in partnership with Zeus.
“Big announcements are on the way. Tronix Network is back in full effect,” he says.
This marks the latest example of Ray J suffering from health problems. In 2021, he shared that previously battled with pneumonia, which almost cost him his life.”
Ray J Promises To Be More Responsible In 2026
The post follows Ray J’s promise to act more responsibly after celebrating his 45th birthday. He admitted that he was “crashing out” in 2025
“Thank y’all for the love today, man. God is good. Something’s new, something’s gonna change this year,” Ray J said. “Sincerely, thank you for all your prayers. Thank you for all the love, all the criticism. Last year was a crazy year; it was a ‘crash-out campaign.’ It was intense, but God made it through and put us in the right position.”
