A concert photographer claims Ray J allegedly used fake blood during his recent concert.

According to new video footage obtained by KTAL, Ray J can be seen applying a substance to his face at his Feb. 14 performance at the Shreveport Municipal Auditorium in Shreveport, LA.

“I’m putting my life on the line for this show!!” Ray J wrote on Facebook ahead of the Feb. 14 concert, which also featured Kelly Price, Bobby Valentino, and more.

However, Tommy Nard II of Nard Multimedia Group, who was the behind-the-scenes videographer at the event, questioned the authenticity of the incident.

“He loves the camera,” Nard II told reporters. “He loves the attention. Anybody that knows him [knows] it’s all theatrical.”

Nard II said when he saw Ray J behind the scenes, prior to going on stage, he was puzzled by what he saw.”I’m behind the scenes, like, ‘What are you doing?’ “

“I seen him literally put on the fake blood and things like that, and go out there with the crowd, which is very shocking that he’d do something like that,” the videographer continued.

Following his January hospitalization, Ray J acknowledged on social media he had been using alcohol, Adderall and drugs. He said his time here was “curved” and that 2027 will be “a wrap” for him.

Ray J’s manager Melinda Santiago previously told PEOPLE, “We all know that Ray J has been under the weather, but all my artists that work with me gotta do their job whether they are bleeding or not.”
