New York Fashion Week featured a multitude of new looks for the upcoming seasons, but it’s Rihanna’s Savage x Fenty lingerie premiere that has everyone talking.
RiRi took over Brooklyn last night (Sept. 12) as she introduced fans to her latest Fenty feature inside the Brooklyn Navy Yard.
Instead of the traditional walk-the-runway set up, the singer-turned-designer used a tropical jungle forum for models to strut across an open “stage” made of grass, man-made hills, trees, and more. The event’s theme was aesthetically captivating, but the diversity of the models is what stole the show.
Rihanna’s models came in all shapes, colors, and sizes including 22-year-old Slick Woods, who’s posed for Elle, The Observer Magazine, and Glamour. Woods announced her pregnancy earlier this summer, so the decision to include her in the show was easy.
Models showed off their savage side as they flaunted sheer, one-piece body suits; colorful, lace panties; and pasties galore!
