During a recent interview, Rihanna speaks on why she turned down a Superbowl half-time offer. Rihanna admits that she “absolutely rejected” the NFL when offered to perform for the 2019 show. She told Vogue magazine that she chose to stand in solidarity with former San Francisco 49er, Colin Kaepernick.
“I couldn’t dare do that. For what. Who gains from that? Not my People. I just couldn’t be a sellout. I couldn’t be an enabler. There’s things within that organization that I do not agree with at all, and J was not about to go and be of service to them in anyway.”
During the interview she was also asked about those pregnancy rumors that was floating around the internet. She laughed and replied, “God’s plan.”
