Filmmaker Ryan Coogler and actor Michael B. Jordan are reuniting for another project. The new original film will be made by Coogler and his production company Proximity Media, with Jordan starring and Coogler writing, directing and producing.
As reported by the Hollywood Reporter, details of the project have been tight-lipped but it’s expected to be a fantasy film. This will be the first original, non-franchise film Coogler has written for the pair since Fruitvale Station back in 2013. The new film is being described as a “genre” project, which leave many to wonder what Coogler has cooking up.
The X account, @DiscussingFilms, posted that the new film may feature vampires.

To date, Jordan and Coogler have worked together on four films- Fruitvale Station, Creed, Black Panther, and Black Panther: Wakanda Forever with Jordan as a lead in each. Regardless of the creative direction Coogler is taking, the pair have proven to create films that keep the internet buzzing and theaters sold out.
For Jordan, he is coming off a big year after making his directing debut on Creed III, in which he reprised his star-making role as Adonis Creed. Coogler most recently directed Marvel’s Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, another massive hit that grossed more then $800 million at the global box office.
