After the success that Andre 3000 has reached with his instrumental album, New Blue Sun, RZA is ready to release one of his own.
According to reports, RZa gave Andre praise for the album and said, “That album is on repeat in my house. Me and my wife, we just sit down and it keeps us very zen in the crib. It had me washing dishes! It’s a good vibe.”
He continued, “André, congratulations. I’m actually gonna do another instrumental album myself. Hip Hop is going to show you that there’s no limits to what we do.” RZA went on to speak about if his album will save Hip-Hop.
“Hip Hop don’t need saving, Hip Hop is just growing. Hip Hop is like New York City — another skyscraper, baby.” This wouldn’t be Wu-Tang Clan member’s first instrumental album. Back in 2007, he released The RZA- Instrumental Experience. He has also composed instrumental pieces for movie soundtracks such as Kill Bill, Ghost Dog, and Te Man with the Iron Fists.
André 3000 recently set a new record on the Billboard Charts with his single, I Swear, I Really Wanted to Make A ‘Rap’ Album But This Is Literally the Way the Wind Blew Me This Time, by becoming the longest song be on the charts clocking in at 12 minutes and 20 seconds long.
Congratulations to 3 Stacks and will you be listening to RZA’s instrumental album once it’s release?
