Scarface is reportedly making a comeback!
According to Variety, filmmaker Luca Guadagnino will be directing a reboot of “Scarface” for Universal Pictures. The latest version is written by Joel Coen and Ethan Coen.
Scarface was originally released in 1932 and remade in 1983. The 1983 version took off and became a classic. It follows “a Cuban refugee named ‘Tony Montana’ who makes his way to Miami in the 80s and becomes a powerful drug lord.”
A tweet began circulating on the web that actor Michael B. Jordan was tapped to play Tony Montana. Now this news has not been confirmed as of yet. However, many can agree that Jordan not new to this. He has starred in the following a Creed, Black Panther, and Fruitvale Station.
