Shamea Morton of Real Housewives of Atlanta has issued an apology to all of her castmates after a dramatic reunion.

Morton posted a video on her YouTube channel titled “Dear Sweet 16…” as a reference to the show’s 16th season. In the 41-minute video, the reality star talked about her behavior throughout the season, including during the three-part reunion.

“If I ever offended you, if I’ve made you feel less than, inferior, insulted you, hurt you in any way — I’m sorry,” Morton said, after apologizing to each cast member. “I hope that we can start fresh, and I wish you nothing but the best. And that prayer, I hope it leaves this room and enters into your heart and into your household, and that’s a wrap on Season 16.”

After she released the apology video, former RHOA star Kandi Burruss shared some advice to Morton, “When you fall out on TV, they gonna make you keep bringing it back up. Everybody gets to have an opinion. It’s got to go viral. It’s about to be a mess,” she said. “Going into the next season, she just needs to address how she feels and be fully transparent.”

During the 16th season, Morton seemed to be at odds with most of her castmates; however, tensions arose when fellow castmate Porsha Williams came to the reunion to confront her about their past issues.

Although things didn’t go as planned, Shamea Morton seems to be taking accountability for her actions. What are your thoughts on this?
