Actor and singer Zuri Craig has reportedly passed away at 44 years old.
A family member of his made the announcement on social media. “It is with profound sadness that we announce the transition of our beloved son, brother, and friend, Zuri Craig. We thank you in advance for your prayers. Please honor our privacy during this unimaginable time of mourning.”
His cause of death has not been determined yet. Many people may remember Zuri for his roles in Madea’s Big Happy Family, Madea Gets a Job and A Madea Christmas. He was also a part of the Atlanta-based singing duo, The CraigLewis Band.

The duo would go on to compete on America’s Got Talent and where they came in fifth place. Before his untimely passing, Zuri was set to produce the live production in Atlanta of “Soul Food Live” which was set to start in November.
