Actress Skai Jackson, 23, has filed a restraining order against Deondre Burgin, the father of her infant son, citing multiple instances of domestic abuse. The legal action, submitted to the Los Angeles County Superior Court, outlines a disturbing pattern of violence over a six-month period.

Allegations of Abuse

According to court documents, Jackson alleges that on Mother’s Day, Burgin assaulted her while she was holding their baby, Kasai. She claims he grabbed her hair, slammed her head into a car window, and punched her in the face. This incident is described as part of a broader pattern of abuse, including choking, scratching, and threats with a knife. Jackson also reports that Burgin once demanded she drink bleach while pregnant and threatened to stab her. She has provided accounts of property damage and an incident captured on video where Burgin allegedly broke a bathroom door and physically assaulted her.

The restraining order request comes just months after Jackson revealed she had welcomed her son in January 2025. She had previously expressed that motherhood had been a fulfilling yet challenging journey. A source close to Jackson indicated that the restraining order was filed to protect her and her child from ongoing threats.

This case follows a similar restraining order filed by actress Halle Bailey against her ex-boyfriend, sparking social media discussions both in support and criticism of the women involved.

As of now, there has been no public response from Burgin regarding the allegations. The court’s decision on the restraining order is pending.
