Skai Jackson will not be facing any charges in her recent domestic battery case.

The L.A. County District Attorney’s Office decided not to press charges due to lack of evidence in the assault against her boyfriend. In addition to that, the D.A.’s office took into consideration that Jackson does not have a criminal history and the alleged victim was not injured during the incident. He also refused to cooperate with prosecutors.

We recently reported that the Disney actress was arrested for battery after getting into a fight with her boyfriend. The altercation took place in California and was witnessed by a security guard who called the police on the couple.

Once the police arrived and reviewed the footage, it showed that Jackson was the aggressor in the situation, pushing him a couple of times. The actress denied having an altercation with her boyfriend and they revealed that they were engaged, in love, and expecting their first child together.

She was arrested and charged with misdemeanor domestic battery and given a citation before being released. After her arrest, Skai Jackson posted a video of herself outside of a mall, while holding a large bag. In the clip, she said, “Never depend on a man for anything. Period!”
