Snoop Dogg recently shared insights into the recovery of his daughter, Cori Broadus, who suffered a severe stroke in Jnauary at the Los Angeles premiere of The Underdoggs.

In an exclusive chat with PEOPLE, the rapper, aged 52, revealed that his 24-year-old daughter is “doing a little bit better.”

When questioned about whether this health scare has shifted his perspective on life, Snoop, who shares Cori with wife Shanté, responded with a thoughtful “Yeah, yeah. Something like that.”

Broadus remains in the hospital after last week’s stroke, but in a recent update on her health, she expressed optimism about returning home soon. In a hospital bed post, she mentioned, “They took me off heparin tonight (blood thinner) & most likely can go home tomorrow🤞🏾🥲.”

Broadus had initially disclosed her severe stroke through an Instagram Story, expressing her emotional response to the situation. She continued to share updates days later including undergoing a CT scan to determine the cause of her stroke. In her posts, she expressed gratitude for the support she received, promising to share more details about her experience once she is out of the hospital.
