Social media critics have much to say about a video Ice T’s wife, Coco Austin, posted.
Coco was having some holiday fun with friends/family and decided to share one of the moments online. In the viral clip, Ice T and Coco’s seven-year-old daughter, Chanel, dance as a group of people, including her mother surround her. Chanel was imitating the character Tina Belcher from Bob’s Burgers. Take a look:
In the caption, Coco wrote, “Gotta love family time! The adults in our family were doing a TikTok, and Chanel runs out in the middle to bust a move to make us laugh.. She loves to joke #tinabobburbers #bobsburgers #tinabelcher #dancemovies.”
Social media has mixed feelings, one user wrote, “not a good look at all,” another said, “teaching kids to be grown now, carry on.” Someone else commented, “let it be a black woman cheering her daughter on while she’s Twerking, the media will have a field day with it. But with a white woman it’s all giggles and laughs.”
On the flip side, some folks didn’t see the harm. One user wrote a lengthy statement and said, “I normally wouldn’t agree with a little girl twerking but [Coco] can do no wrong in my eyes. I love me some [Coco]. Your daughter is a doll and I know in my heart it wasn’t made to look like she was twerking just simply dancing & busting a move. Nothing malicious about this. You are a great mom! Chanel made me chuckle shes so funny her laugh is contagious, I love it.” Others suggested to other social media users that they should watch Bob’s Burgers.
