Sterling K. Brown recently shared how she spends “quality time” with himself before bed.
Appearing on The Jennifer Hudson Show, the Golden Globe winner, who’s been married to Ryan Michelle Bathe since 2006, made a stunning confession about his bedroom routine.
“Sometimes I go to bed before the misses,” Sterling told Hudson. “She’s a bit of a night owl; she stays up a little bit later than your boy.”
“But sometimes you have this feeling at night where you’re like, ‘Aw man, I feel, ya know,’” he went on.. “And so sometimes I have a little quality time with Sterling. And it helps me go to bed.”
Hudson, who was caught completely off guard by Brown’s confession, put her hand in while the audience cheered.
“I see many brothers who understand what I’m saying,” Brown continued. “And it’s in the spirit of transparency. Sometimes it helps me lie down.”
Previously, Brown shared that he loves being in the nude, and his wife has to make him put clothes on.
“Is it hard? No. Why? Because I am actually an exhibitionist,” Brown told People in January 2025. “My wife is like, ‘Will you please put some clothes on?’ I said, ‘Only if I have to.’ So I really don’t care. It doesn’t phase me in the least.”
“As a matter of fact, my publicist’s more than likely [to say something],” he continued. “Every time something happens, he’s like, ‘Could you not show people your body? Could you not do that? Because that’s what people talk about.”
Brown also said that as long as he looks good, he won’t be afraid to show the world what he’s working with.
“I was like, ‘I’m 48 years old. When I turn 50, I’m going to Sally O’Malley,” he said, referring to Molly Shannon’s character on Saturday Night Live.
“I’m going to kick, I’m going to stretch, and I’m going to kick again because I’m 50, doggone it,” he added, “And hopefully people will still want to see it. They may not. I don’t know. We’ll see. But I got two more years. I’ll let you know when it happens.”
