New York Man on the Run After Setting His Girlfriend on Fire

New York City police are on the hunt for 26-year-old Larry McGloster, who doused his girlfriend in an unknown substance and set her on first in an Upper West Side apartment building yesterday (June 12).

Reports say the suspect set his girlfriend on fire at approximately 11:45 a.m. inside an apartment building on Columbus Ave. near W. 100th St. Authorities have yet to establish a motive, but the victim currently sits in critical condition in a New York hospital.

McGloster fled the scene after igniting the flames. As a result, police are asking for help locating the suspect.

According to reports, McGloster is 5 feet, 8 inches tall, weighing approximately 150 pounds, and was last seen wearing a white shirt and dark-colored pants.
