Grammy-winning artist SZA abruptly ended a meet-and-greet session after a fan threw a bracelet that struck her face. The incident occurred during a recent stop on her SOS Tour, leaving fans and onlookers in shock.

A video circulating online captures the moment when SZA, born Solána Imani Rowe, was interacting with fans near the stage. Suddenly, a bracelet is seen flying through the air, hitting her in the face. Visibly startled, SZA immediately turned away and exited the area without addressing the crowd.

The footage quickly went viral, prompting widespread condemnation of the fan’s actions. Many supporters expressed their disappointment on social media. One user commented, “This is unacceptable behavior. SZA deserves respect, not to be assaulted during a meet-and-greet.” Another added, “People need to understand boundaries. This could have caused serious injury.”

Ongoing Issues with Fan Conduct

This is not the first time SZA has faced issues with fan behavior. During a concert in Melbourne in April 2024, she paused her performance to address the crowd after objects were thrown on stage. Holding up an item that had landed near her, she warned, “If you throw something else, I will leave.” She emphasized, “Do not throw up any cell phones. I’m a person. That’s crazy.”

The trend of fans throwing objects at performers has been a growing concern in the music industry. Artists like Bebe Rexha, Harry Styles, and Drake have also experienced similar incidents, leading to discussions about concert etiquette and performer safety.

As of now, SZA has not released an official statement regarding the bracelet incident. It remains unclear whether the individual responsible was identified or faced any consequences.
