Rapper and actor Clifford “T.I.” Harris publicly responded this week to renewed sex trafficking allegations from former acquaintance Sabrina Peterson. He denied the accusations as “propaganda,” urging people to focus on truth and positivity.
Denial and Dismissal
In a video shared on Instagram over the weekend, T.I. spoke without naming Peterson directly. He opened with: “Yeah, man. I’m just out here, man, just thinking how beautiful it is today, man. It’s a beautiful day to not spread lies and to mind your business.”
Later in the clip, he added: “Don’t be out here spreading propaganda just because you unhappy with your life and yourself, man.” He pressed his point. “God has blessed you too, man… don’t look to anybody else and point blame at somebody else.” His tone blended calm reflection with a firm pushback.
T.I. also employed a lighter touch, pivoting mid‑video to promote upcoming comedy shows in Washington, D.C. He joked: “Get your tickets, man. Because we will be in D.C., man.” This shift seemed aimed at refocusing attention on his career rather than the controversy.
Allegations Renewed
Peterson resurfaced her claims earlier this month. She reposted Tiny Harris’s social media response to the Diddy verdict, then issued fresh, serious charges. “It’s the trafficking, coercion, prostitution & you can’t give consent while forcing your victims to take drugs,” she wrote on Instagram. She also stated she will release “sex trafficking receipts” on July 19, her birthday.
These are not new accusations. Peterson originally accused T.I. and Tiny in early 2021, alleging coercion, forced drugging, and even a gun threat. That year, eleven alleged victims stepped forward with similar claims spanning multiple states Many of those allegations were dismissed or remain under investigation. The couple denied all claims and pursued legal action.
Legal Context and Backlash
In March, a Los Angeles judge dismissed Peterson’s defamation lawsuit after determining she did not prosecute the case diligently. Records also showed she was found in contempt for failing to pay nearly $100,000 in legal fees to T.I. and Tiny—which was declared moot once the case was dismissed. The defamation suit filed by T.I. in December 2024 remains active.
Despite legal setbacks, Peterson maintains her allegations. She told Rolling Stone: “I’m tired. This has gone on for four or five years. I’m really tired.”
What Comes Next
For his part, T.I. insists no criminal charges are pending. He and his wife Tiny Harris continue to operate under the principle of legally presumed innocence.
As for Peterson, she has signaled a potential new batch of evidence set to appear mid‑July. Whether new documentation will emerge or reignite legal action remains to be seen.
