Messiah Harris is working hard to follow his dad’s contribution to music, but not as a rapper.
Clifford “T.I” Harris’ eldest son, Messiah Harris, was introduced to the public as the soft-spoken sibling on the T.I. & Tiny: The Family Hustle reality series. Since then, Messiah has been carving out a lane for himself as a country blues musician.
The 23 year-old impressed his followers with his rendition of “Give a Little Bit” by Supertramp, a soft rock song from 1977.
His followers across Instagram and Tik Tok cheered him on.
One follower wrote, “I needed this. ❤️”
Another fan commented, “🔥🔥🔥🔥 KEEP GOING KID!!!!!!!!”
Under the stage moniker Buddy Red, Messiah made his debut performance as a country artist in November of 2022. Stepmom, Tiny Harris praised him on her instagram page.
“Had an amazing time watching our son do his thang at his very first show! I love how he got so interested in the guitar that he taught himself how to play; now that’s talent! He stepped so far out the box and found his own lane! Show @phase_4 some love and make sure to check out #BuddyRed,” she wrote.
Messiah currently has three songs available to stream on Apple Music. His latest song, “1958”, was released on February 14th.
