Rapper Jeezy and ‘The Real’ host Jeannie Mai have said their “I Dos”!
The newlyweds quietly tied the knot last week during a private ceremony in Atlanta, Georgia.
According to USA Today: The couple’s intimate “mini-mony” included only “immediate family and a few close friends” who tested negative for COVID-19.
Jeezy and Mai wanted to commemorate this occasion in Italy or France but, the host shared tomorrow is not promised. She says:
“After Jeezy’s mother unexpectedly passed, we quickly learned that life is too short. And at the end of the day, Jeezy and I really just wanted to become husband and wife. So we decided to turn our original wedding into a mini-mony.”
She adds: “We were really looking forward to having all of our friends and family there to celebrate, but we had to change all of our wedding plans due to COVID.”
The bride wore a nude Galia Lahav wedding dress while Jeezy opted for a champagne blush tuxedo from Teofilo Flor.
“The finished product was everything I envisioned,” Mai told Vogue.
