During an interview on NeNe Leakes’ podcast, Tamar Braxton opened up about her feelings toward Loni Love.

NeNe revealed that she was originally approached to be one of the co-hosts on the daytime talk show The Real, but declined the offer. According to her, the role was later given to Loni Love.

Tamar responded by saying she had been involved in the show’s development and, reacting to NeNe’s comment, remarked, “I wish they would have tole me that- I wouldn’t have cast big back Cadillac,” take a jab at Love.

It was previously reported that a “source” revealed to Tamar, that Loni Love, had a hand in the songstress being fire from The Real in 2016. At the time,  Braxton posted screenshots of text messages from an “inside source” that told her, “So I just found out Lonnie Love was writing letter to get you kicked off the show. She wrote the network.” Tamar responded to source, “I told everyone that it was her no one wanted to believe me.”

During a previous interview, Love shared her sentiments towards Tamar’s exit. “I think she’s embarrassed, she knows the truth,” Love said at the time. “If you don’t like us, if you thought we had you fired, why would you sit with us when we all got nominated for an Emmy? We all loved her. We were all together with her…we supported her, nobody was jealous.”
