Tamar Braxton Releases New Single + Video , “Notice Me”

In celebration of her 47th birthday, Grammy-nominated R&B singer Tamar Braxton surprised her “Tamartains,” with an unexpected release of her single “Notice Me,” on Friday, March 15.

In the song, Braxton informs her past lovers that one day they’ll regret making her feel invisible. In addition to the single, she also shared a visual of her belting out her vocals while donning only a white t-shirt and Hanes underwear, accessorized with Van Cleef & Arpels jewelry. On her sleeveless t-shirt, words that reads “JR LAW” – from her fiancé Jeremy “JR” Robinson’s law firm – cab be seen on the chest and across the back.

She sings, “I give you love when you don’t deserve it/ Put up with your sh*t when yo’ a** can’t focus/ When you lookin’ cray like I’m speaking foreign/ And the audacity of you not to notice me,” before warning, “One day you’ll notice me/ A girl that loves you, do anything for you/ One day you’ll notice me.

The R&B ballad is currently at Top 10 of the iTunes R &B/Soul charts during it’s release week. In response to the news, Braxton wrote “WOW!!!!! This is BANANAS. I’m so grateful.” This is Tamar’s first release since her Billboard chart-topping hit, “Changed,” which was released in March 2023.

Braxton and Robinson are currently engaged after calling off their engagement in October. The couple met on the Peacock reality series “Queen’s Court”, with Robinson proposing during the season finale that aired in March.
