Tamia and Joe are hitting the road together.
In a social media post announced on Tuesday (Nov 22), Tamia shared that she and Joe will embark on a spring tour for 2024.
The tour begins February 9th in Washington, D.C. The next day, the veteran singers are slated to head to Cleveland, Ohio with Detroit, Michigan and Atlanta, Georgia following. More dates will be announced.
Tamia, a six-time Grammy Award-nominated artist, has a career spanning almost thirty years. Some of her most recognized songs in the genre, include “You Put A Move On My Heart”, “So Into You”, and “Beautiful Surprise”. After signing her first recording deal in 1994, Tamia earned her first two Grammy nominations following collaboration with producer Quincy Jones.
Joe, a seven-time Grammy Award nominee began his career in 1992. He rose to prominence after releasing his debut album Everything the following year. His hit singles include “Stutter,” “All the Things (Your Man Won’t Do),” “Don’t Wanna Be a Player,”and “I Wanna Know.” Joe as also had notable collaborations including “Faded Pictures,” “Thank God I Found You,” and “Still Not a Player”. Joe has solidified his status as an R&B icon, earning him critical acclaim and a dedicated fan base.
