As Tamron Hall anticipates the premiere of her new self-titled talk show, she has a few boardroom demands to ensure a successful show launch, and that includes hiring more women.
Hall helped lead a conversation with Rolling Stone contributing editor Alex Morris Kling and others during the magazine’s invite only Women Shaping the Future brunch yesterday (Mar. 20). While on the mic, the Texas-born news anchor told the audience, “When I came to [an early] meeting to discuss my new show . . . there were only men in the room.”

Tamron continued, “And I had to say, ‘Sorry to tell you, but we are going to have a lot of women on staff. Sorry, but I don’t want to just talk to you men all day. We need some women in here.’”
The Tamron Hall Show debuts Sept. 9.
