It looks like Tank is getting ready to say farewell to his fans as he works on his final album called R&B Money.
The 46-year-old singer became emotional in a now-deleted message to fans about it. “As I close out this last album, it’s kinda bittersweet,” he started.
“I think about the calls I made to continue the connection of R&B camaraderie and all the calls that weren’t returned. It doesn’t hurt because I needed them, it just hurt that making good music together has become about something other than music.”
He continued, “I’m one of the best ever at what I do right now as we speak but that has never been a reason for me not working with anybody.”
We reported that the singer was completely deaf in his right ear and that he was losing his hearing in the left one.
“I’m going completely deaf in my right ear, and I’m kind of losing sound in my left. I’m dizzy, can’t walk a straight line—all of this out of nowhere. [I] don’t know how or why. Seen the doctors and got MRIs and all that good stuff going on.”
