Taraji P. Henson has been named the headliner for this year’s Black Beauty Summit.
The event will be returning to New York City for their second in-person summit hosted by Black Beauty Roster and in partnership with Instagram.
According to reports, the summit will be “more than a conference but a convening of power and celebration of the Black beauty creatives.”
Henson was named headliner of this epic event as the founder of her line TPH by Taraji however, her role is to speak and affirm the audience on the importance of ownership and representation within the business industry.
“Representation matters at every level, especially behind the scenes,” she said in a recent interview. Henson will not be the only one speaking at this event. Michelle Williams will be speaking about the connection between beauty and wellness. Other big names include Julee Wilson, the former Beauty Director of Essence, social media influencers Miss Darcei and Jeneé Naylor, famed hairstylist Ursula Stephen.
