Azriél Crews opened up about being hit on by a “creepy” she was just 16.
Taking to Instagram, the daughter of Terry Crews and Rebecca King-Crews recalled details of her unpleasant experience.
Azriél began by sharing that she will not drop names but will tell her truth.
t was actually a week-long event, and it included a pre-wedding yacht party,” she says. “That is where I first met this actor.”
“My mom introduced me to him as her 16-year-old, so he was well aware of my age.”
Azriél said she was excited to meet the actor until things went left.
“We arrived at the ceremony, and we found some seats, which were unassigned,” Azriél explained. “But then, as if on cue, creepy actor slides into the seat next to me. He says, ‘Funny meeting you here,’ as if he didn’t intentionally choose that seat.”
At the wedding reception, the actor chose to sit right next to her, although seats were assigned.
“Who sits next to me, but the f—— creepy actor,” she says. “Somehow, his name is on the place card next to mine, which…coincidence, I’ll never know.”
Azriél said she tried to ignore him as he chatted with her parents
But then, “I feel a hand caress the back of my arm,” she says. “So, I turn to him, and he’s smiling at me, creepily, and he says, ‘Are you enjoying yourself?”
After responding yes, the actor said, “Well, don’t act too civilized.”
Azriél went bathroom and told her mother about what happened. She was quick to believe her and began to pray.
We prayed that he would leave us alone. Because we didn’t want to have to tell my father and cause a scene at this big, star-studded event,” she says. “And when we got back to the table, miraculously, he was gone.”
Azriél Hopes Her Story Will Help Other Women
Azriél concludes her video by admitting she was torn about sharing her story.”
“I went back and forth on whether or not to share this story, obviously, because it’s juicy,” Azriél said. “But it is one of those stories that perfectly encapsulates what my life was like at this time.”
“Sometimes I was the celebrity kid at a black-tie wedding. In my daily life, I was just a normal Christian girl who had never been kissed.”
