Terry Crews has a few words for comedian D.L. Hughley.
Last August 2018, during an interview with VLADTV, Hughley claimed that Crews is not a victim of an alleged “unwanted groping” by William Morris agent Adam Venit. Hughley believes that someone as big as Crews should have punched Venit in the face.
“I think it’s hard for me to think a dude with all those muscles can’t tell an agent to not touch his ass…… Hey, motherfucker, God gave you muscles so you could say no and mean it,” Hughley said.
The video began circulating around social media when it caught the actor’s eye. Crews turned to social media to call out Hughley for his statements.
“You told the world “God Gave Me Muscles So I could Say No….” Are you implying I “wanted” to be sexually assaulted? I’m listening, sir….”
See the exchange below.
You told the world “God Gave Me Muscles So I Could Say No…”
Are you implying I “wanted” to be sexually assaulted?
I’m listening, sir…https://t.co/v6Q4xrvfJQ

Sir you said I should have pushed him back, or restrained him and I DID ALL THOSE THINGS… but you act like I didn’t.
Were you there?

Black Twitter had a few words for DL as well!
DL HUGHLEY?! SPEAKING ON WHAT A MAN SHOULD DO?!??!!!!! DL HUUUUUGHLEYYY????
the man who cheated on his wife, had a child on his wife, wished death upon that same child and found relief once that child was horribly killed?!!!!
THAT DL HUGHLEY??????!!!!!— Simone (@SimonesFiasco) January 27, 2019
How does a comedian like DL Hughley speak so eloquently about how black men are mistreated and profiled, but completely ignores that Terry Crews could’ve gotten shot and/or jailed, losing his family and his career, if he slapped this rich white man at this party? https://t.co/vaQ4CfAkCe

DL Hughley admitted he didn’t do anything when his daughter was sexually assaulted by his friend. He expects Terry Crews to slap his accuser but all it took was friendship to make Hughley put his hands in his pockets about his own child. #SlapHimTerry pic.twitter.com/MLzjHSZQ0x

I would like to introduce #SlapHimTerry as an extension of the #MeToo movement — this branch is in support of men holding other men accountable. Despite the name, this is a non-violent group.
Unless you’re DL Hughley.

Black sexists & misogynists: Terry Crews is soft for sharing his #MeToo experiences. *Questions his strength, masculinity, and sexuality.*
Crews offers to slap DL Hughley for being a rape apologist.
Them now: He’s being so aggressive and mean to Black men.
Y’all full of shit.
