When Taraji P. Henson isn’t busy filming Empire or planning a wedding, she’s sharpening her resume with new movies. And the trailer for her latest project, What Men Want, is here.
The Paramount Pictures film is slated to hit theaters in January 2019, and tells the story of a woman who’s “boxed out by the male sports agents in her profession, and gains an unexpected edge over them when she develops the ability to hear their thoughts.”
If the storyline sounds familiar, it should as the movie is a remake of Mel Gibson’s 2000 flick, What Women Want.
While Henson plays the lead character, Ali Davis, the movie also stars Tamala Jones, Tracy Morgan, Erykah Badu, and Aldis Hodge.
The story focuses on Taraji’s on-camera persona who “looks to outsmart her colleagues as she races to sign the next basketball superstar.” Unfortunately, “the lengths she has to go to will put her relationship with her best friends and a potential new love interest (Aldis Hodge) to the test.”
