Social media has been up in arms after the brand Always announced the removal of the women’s symbol on their packaging on behalf of those who are transgender and non-binary. Transgender activists made it a point to protest the brand with the argument of ‘not all women menstruate and not all who menstruate are women.”
Procter and Gamble, the company that hosts Always feminine products made a statement saying: “For over 35 years Always has championed girls and women, and we will continue to do so…We’re also committed to diversity & inclusion and are on a continual journey to understand the needs of all of our consumers.”
There have been no details on when the official change in packaging will be made nonetheless take a look at some opinions from social media users below:

So, transphobes losing it over Always deciding to change the design of their pads’ packaging would be hilarious if it wasn’t so sad. The number of them blaming trans women is just… pic.twitter.com/1JDGH31vsF

The article says menstruation can be “dysphoric for trans men” and I don’t get what that means or why appropriating gender is OK when race/culture isn’t? Only WOMEN menstruate and as one of them I can tell you there is zero euphoria involved in the process https://t.co/kcpnpKhWEq
