Tia Mowry is in love, and she is so excited about it.
After divorcing Cory Hardrict three years ago, Mowry has found love again, and she could not contain her joy.
“I’m in love,” Mowry told The Shade Room. I’m keeping this close to my heart.”
While she didn’t reveal her new beau, she did share how he gives her all the vibes she needs.
“I’m very grateful,” she mused. “I’m happy.”
Finalized in April 2023, Mowry’s divorce from Hardrict marked the end of a 14-year marriage. Mowry initially filed in October 2022, citing irreconcilable differences, but she has since characterized the split as an act of “self-love” and a necessary “awakening.”
Mowry took to social media to share the news of the breakup.
”I have always been honest with my fans, and today is no different,” And I wanted to share that Cory and I have decided to go our separate ways,” Mowry wrote at the time. “These decisions are never easy, and not without sadness. We will maintain a friendship as we co-parent our beautiful children. I am grateful for all the happy times we had together and want to thank my friends, family, and fans for your love and support as we start this new chapter moving forward in our lives.”
The couple shares two children, Cree, 14, and Cairo, 7.
MOWRY HAS BEEN HONEST ABOUT THE CHALLENGES OF HER POST-DIVORCE LIFE
In December 2024, Mowry admitted that he felt a lot of “guilt” after her public divorce.
“I’ll admit, as a single mom, I sometimes feel the weight because our family doesn’t look like others,” Tia wrote in an Instagram post. “But you know what? That’s okay. Different doesn’t mean less than. The most important thing is keeping the traditions alive for my children—because no matter how it looks, we are still family.”
Although the move was not easy, Mowry says that her happiness was essential and that most women never prioritize being happy.
“I feel like women, we tend to focus on everybody else’s happiness, making sure that everybody else is OK,” Mowry said on the Today show. “But at the end of the day, it’s about self-love. When you start to really work on yourself, love yourself, know your value and know your worth, then all of a sudden, there’s this awakening.”
