Tia Mowry has set the record straight about getting back together with her ex-husband, Cory Hardrict.
The actress went on social media to address the blogs and the false stories that have been recently written about her. “Just because the dating life is complicated, doesn’t mean I’m going to go back to something that no longer serves me,” she wrote.
She continued, “That’s like saying if I don’t book an audition our a part right away, I’m going to give up on my dreams as an actor. Please just stop. I ain’t that weak. Please move on because I have. Thank you, NEXT.”
Mowry added, “I’m no longer allowing the lies and BLOGS creating false information. I create the narrative NOT you for click bait. If you don’t hear it from me. It’s all LIES.”
Tia Mowry shocked the world when she announced that she was getting a divorce after 14 years of marriage. She broke the news on her Instagram account and wrote, “I have always been honest with my fans, and today is no different. I wanted to share that Cory and I have decided to go our separate ways. These decisions are never easy, and not without sadness. We will maintain a friendship as we co-parent our beautiful children.”
She continued, “I am grateful for all the happy times we had together and want to thank my friends, family and fans for your love and support as we start this new chapter moving forward in our lives.”
This isn’t the first time that Mowry has been open about her dating struggles. She stated that the dating process had her nervous and terrified and revealed that the dating world is much different than what she imagined it to be.
“It is very tough and very exhausting… My last relationship… it was beautiful…it was amazing. It was wonderful. There was courting that was involved. And I was saying how I feel like that’s no longer present, meaning people just don’t court each other anymore,” she said in a recent interview.
