Tina Knowles is publicly sharing birthday love to her eldest granddaughter, Blue Ivy Carter.
The mom-anger and fashion designer posted a sweet tribute to the young superstar, offering more insight about who she is.
In a January 7th Instagram post, Knowles shared a collage of photos documenting Blue’s 14 years around the sun.
“I remember the day that we found out about you being in your mom‘s womb. We could not have been more excited! We were told that you were the size of a blueberry and that is where your name came from ! We all prayed together for you every single day till you were 12 weeks old in your moms belly! Then we prayed individually until you arrived months later.
“It was apparent that you were a fighter from the beginning, and you talked very early. And you were always smart as a whip we played Princess and Barbie dolls All the time and your imagination was incredible,” she added.
The proud grandmother also praised Blue for remaining grounded as she has grown older.
“To say that I’m a proud grandmother is an understatement! Even with all of your accomplishments and success, you remain a very sweet, kind humble human being,” Knowles wrote.
She closed the message by referring to Blue as her “manager, makeup artist, fashion adviser, my love” before wishing her a happy birthday and signing off with a heart emoji.
Born in 2011 to Beyoncé and Jay-Z, Blue has already cemented her status as a young superstar with many achievements and accolades of her own added to her name. Some of her awards include a Grammy, BET Award, NAACP Image Award, MTV VMA, and a Voice Arts Award. She contributed to her mom’s The Lion King: The Gift album and was a voice actor for the The Lion King 2019 film.
