Tina Turner is saying her final farewell to her fans in her new documentary.
In the documentary titled, “Tina”, the singer takes viewers on a journey back to her younger days as she describes was filled with struggle and pain and eventually finding global fame and true love.
The music legend explains how she is entering the final chapter of her life out of the spotlight, and how she is dealing with PTSD from the years of domestic abuse she endured at the hands of her late ex-husband, Ike Turner. She has also revealed that she had a stroke and cancer and has also suffered from kidney failure which led to a transplant in 2017.
As she reflected on her past she stated, “It wasn’t a good life. The good did not balance the bad. I had an abusive life, there’s no other way to tell the story. It’s a reality. It’s the truth. That’s what you’ve got, so you have to accept it.”
The documentary is set to air on HBO on March 27th and it also takes a look into her latest relationship with her second husband, Erwin Bach, and their life since leaving America and relocating to Switzerland.
