Kimora Lee Simmons is back—and she’s bringing the fabulosity with her.
The iconic designer, entrepreneur, and mother of five will return to reality television with a brand-new E! series titled “Kimora: Back in the Fab Lane.” The show, premiering in December 2025, offers a contemporary look at her larger-than-life world. It revisits the glamorous chaos fans adored in the original “Kimora: Life in the Fab Lane,” which ran from 2007 to 2011.
“This show is very personal to me,” Simmons said in a recent statement. “It’s about growth, about legacy, and about showing how we as women—and as mothers—can still run things with style.”
A Single Mother, A Billion-Dollar Brand
Simmons’ story has evolved dramatically since her original series aired. Now a single mother, she juggles parenting five children—Ming (25), Aoki (22), Kenzo (13), Gary (15), and Wolfe (10)—while managing her revitalized Baby Phat brand, which she re-launched in 2019.
“The show will follow the now single mom of five as she commands a billion-dollar empire,” E! said in a press release. “It’s not just about fashion—it’s about family, ambition, and always doing it fabulously.”
Fans can expect cameos and storylines involving her model daughters, Ming and Aoki, as they navigate their own careers and identities. “My daughters are grown now,” Simmons said. “They’re strong, beautiful, and opinionated—and yes, sometimes they test me. But we’re doing this journey together.”
A Legacy in Fashion and Television
Simmons first made waves as a teenage model under Karl Lagerfeld at Chanel. By 1999, she had taken a leading role in redefining streetwear with Baby Phat, transforming it into a global lifestyle brand.
“Kimora: Back in the Fab Lane” aims to celebrate that legacy while showcasing what’s next. From youth basketball games to boardroom deals, it promises a dynamic blend of maternal instincts and mogul moves.
“It’s more outrageous and more fabulous than ever before,” Simmons teased. “And this time, it’s all on my terms.”
The show joins a wave of new unscripted content at E!, including “Plastic Surgery Rewind” and “Dirty Rotten Scandals.” But for long-time fans, the return of Kimora promises the ultimate mix of nostalgia and next-level glam.
