TLC fans are getting ready to get another glimpse inside the lives of Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins and Rozanda “Chilli” Thomas with their new documentary TLC Forever.
After seeing their journey in the 2013 biopic “CrazySexyCool”, this documentary will show the highs and lows that they experienced from the beginning of their careers to where they are now.
The trailer shows a bunch of throwback clips, commentary from multiple people including Missy Elliott, Questlove, and more, as well as narration from T-Boz and Chilli. It starts with an unknown speaker saying, “The music industry had deemed TLC to be over.”
T-Boz adds, “But when you believe in yourself, that’s powerful.” TLC got together in 1990, with T-Boz, Chilli, and the late Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes, who passed away in 2002. Throughout their career, they gave fans hits such as, “Waterfalls”, “Unpretty”, “Creep”, and many more.
The remaining members are currently getting ready to go on tour. “TLC Forever” is set to premiere on June 3rd at 8 pm on Lifetime.
