Gospel artist Todd Dulaney has released his latest project The Journey and it is a listening experience.
During an intimate listening session, Dulaney explained how this album came about from the details of the album cover to creation of each song. He revealed that before making this album, the pandemic made him lose his focus, and that he felt disconnected from God. He eventually bounced back. “I had to scratch and claw my way back to God,” he said. “I used to tell myself everyday ‘that this is the day that I will do better’ and it didn’t happen.”
Dulaney added, “God began to creep back into my life and He added people like Cece Winans, Smokie Norful, and so many people to help make me stronger. Because of that, this project was birthed.”
Dulaney talked about how he prays over his songs before it goes as a way for it to bless his fans and whoever listens to his music. “This is so serious to me. I don’t know how people can work without the Holy Ghost being with them.”
The 10 track album has features from Bishop Hezekiah Walker, Tim Godfrey, Darrel Walls, and Jabari Johnson. Stream The Journey right now.
