Tracce Eillis Ross is coming to Broadway.
PEOPLE reports that the Emmy-winning actress will make her Broadway debut this summer in Every Brilliant Thing at the Hudson Theatre in New York City. She will perform from July 7 and continue through Aug. 9.
Taking to Instagram, Ross shared her exciting news.
I’ll be starring in the Tony-nominated play @brilliantbway! Come see your girl on Broadway,” she wrote.
A massive Broadway hit, it was written by Duncan Macmillan with Jonny Donahoe and directed by Jeremy Herrin. Since its inception, it has been performed in over 80 countries. Previously, it was adapted into an HBO special starring co-creator Donahoe. “The play follows a person reflecting on their life through a running list of all the small joys. And beautiful moments that made life worth living.”
“I’ve been a fan of Tracee’s work for a long time. And I knew her quick wit, intelligence, and emotional depth would be the perfect fit for Every Brilliant Thing,” Macmillan said in a statement. “We are beyond thrilled that she has chosen to make her Broadway debut with us this summer. We can’t wait to welcome her to the Hudson Theatre, and for audiences to experience her unique take on the play.”
