Trey Songz has been ordered to pay $11 million in damages to a Maryland Capitol Officer.

According to reports, Officer Tyrelle Dunn filed a lawsuit against the “Love Lost” singer after a 2021 incident in which he was injured while trying to rescue his spouse from Songz’s hotel room.

Officer Dunn claims that Songz and his team attacked him after he heard his wife screaming for help and saying that she was being “held against her will.” During the incident, the officer suffered fractured eye sockets and scarring, which he said caused him to lose out on wages because he had to miss work.

Although Trey Songz was cleared of criminal charges in 2022, the lawsuit defaulted in favor of Dunn. The payout from the singer will cover Dunn’s medical expenses, punitive damages, and pain suffering.

Trey Songz recently had another lawsuit accusing him of sexual assault dismissed. This dismissal came after the plaintiff failed to respond to his motion to dismiss.
