Ts Madison Responds To Trumps Anti-Trans Executive Orders

Actress and LGBTQ+ pioneering voice, TS Madison, has spoken out against Donald Trump’s executive order which, amongst other things, mandates trans prisoners must be sent to prisons that do not align with their gender identity.

Madison, who is trans, told TMZ: “You can put legal sanctions on anything, but you can never ever change anybody’s identity. You have the right to identify exactly however you choose to identify, always.”

“This isn’t just about trans people. It’s an attack on everybody,” she continued.

“Trump may think he can legislate our identities away, but that’s not how this works. We’ve always existed, and we’re not going anywhere.”

“This isn’t just about race; it’s about every marginalized community under attack,” she stated, noting that such actions create a broader environment of exclusion and inequality.

Regarding Trump’s campaign slogan, “Make America Great Again,” Madison reframed it, suggesting that the true intention behind the phrase is to revert the country to a past era characterized by racial privilege.

“47 isn’t trying to ‘Make America Great Again,’ he’s trying to make the country as White as possible,” she asserted, further condemning his administration’s rhetoric as “very dangerous.”

As the legal battle to overturn the executive order intensifies, Madison’s response underscores the broader struggle for transgender equality and human rights in an increasingly hostile political climate.
