Tyler Perry is doing a ‘good deed.’

The multimillionaire executive is helping to create a new home for Josephine Wright, a 93-year-old who is being forced by developers her to sell her land by using harassment.

Perry is helping to build a new 5-bedroom home in South Carolina to replace the one Wright has been living in along with her grandkids.

He shared the story to his 7.5 million followers. He captioned, “‘I’ve pretty much been a fighter all my life’ said 93 year old Josephine Wright. Well, that makes two of us. Ms. Wright, please tell where to show up and what you need to help you fight.”

Her original home had been in her family since just after the Civil War. Her husband was a Gullah Geechee Islander. His relatives escaped slaves and were freed by Union soldiers.

However, the home has been under fire from Bailey Point Investment Group.

The investment group filed suit to seize control of her property.

In an interview with WSAV, Wright told reporters that Bailey Point received approval to develop 29 acres of land behind her home. Once she declined their offer to buy her home, she claims Bailey Point started harassing her, leading to a lawsuit to rip away the property.

One of Josephine’s grandkids organized a GoFundMe to help pay for her legal fees.

According to TMZ, Perry’s construction crew will break ground in the coming weeks.
