Indiana Pacers guard Tyrese Haliburton has reached a major personal milestone. On July 28, 2025, he proposed to longtime sweetheart Jade Jones at the place their love story began—Iowa State University’s Hilton Coliseum. Haliburton, still wearing a boot, returned to campus and asked Jones to marry him at center court.

He arranged a romantic setup with rose petals, floating candles, balloons, and illuminated letters spelling “Will You Marry Me?” This spectacle transformed the arena into a cinematic moment.

In a handsome post they shared on Instagram, he wrote: “The place where our story started, and where our next chapter begins.” Jones responded playfully in comments, referencing the viral Rob49 track, “Future Mrs. What the Hali.”

A Six‑Year Journey

Tyrese Haliburton and Jade Jones began dating in 2019 while students at Iowa State. He played for the Cyclones; she was on the cheerleading squad. Their bond grew steadily from then on.

Jade has been unwavering in her support. She frequently attends games, including international events like the 2024 Olympics where Haliburton represented Team USA.The couple even share a goldendoodle named Ames, named for their college town.

They celebrated their six‑year anniversary in April, posting tributes to each other on Instagram describing their love as both enduring and unique.

Love and Recovery

Haliburton suffered a torn Achilles in Game 7 of the 2025 NBA Finals. That injury has sidelined him and will likely cost his 2025–26 season. Despite that setback, he made sure love took center stage.

After the proposal, the couple threw a private on‑campus celebration with family and friends, including former Iowa State teammates.
