Christmas came early for Tyrese earlier this week when the judge overseeing his custody battle case against ex-wife, Norma Gibson, ruled in his favor regarding child support.
According to Entertainment Tonight, a judge put “very specific limits” on Norma’s child support demands from her former spouse.
For example, Tyrese will not be required to pay for childcare costs for their 11-year-old daughter, Shayla, incurred by Norma when she is running “non-work errands” or costs to “run her household.”
The judge also agreed with Tyrese’s demand that Norma keep an itemized list of all expenses, recommending that she “maintain a dairy of time spent on work.”
Unfortunately, Tyrese will have to provide financial reimbursement when it comes to the childcare his daughter will need while his ex continues “developing her life coaching business, working on her book, and pursuing her art,” with the stipulation that “the art is done as business,” with the stipulation that “the art is done as business.”
The judge’s new ruling comes one year after the singer/actor was granted joint custody of he and Norma’s daughter.
