This is amazing news! Actor Eric Braeden has revealed that he is cancer-free.
In April, we reported that the “Young and the Restless” star shared his diagnosis on Facebook Live. “I thank you for all of your good thoughts, all of your prayers.” He went on to say that he found out about the cancer when he was having issues with his prostate while recovering from knee replacement.
He recently went back on Facebook to share a special message. “As of three days ago, I am cancer-free.” Braeden continued, “I can tell you it obviously has helped because I had my last cystoscopy two days ago, that’s when they thread a camera into your bladder, and I am cancer-free. They couldn’t find a damn thing, isn’t that nice?”
The actor added, “That obviously makes me happy, getting old is great. I love life, man. Why wouldn’t I? I’m working on the No. 1 show. It has been No. 1 for 38 years now. Why would I complain? That would be obscene.”
Eric Braeden is currently waiting on the results of his MRI to make sure that the cancer hasn’t spread. We will continue to keep the actor in our thoughts and prayers.
