Usher and Chris Brown have extended their highly successful “R&B Tour.” The joint tour now has a total of 59 dates.
On his Instagram Stories, Usher confirmed that the tour is adding more dates.
The R&B Tour heads back to East Rutherford, N.J. (Oct. 15) and Miami (Dec. 6) for a third show. Also, the tour will return to Atlanta for a fourth date (Nov. 5) and a fifth in Los Angeles (Nov. 16).
“You all are STILL not playing about The R&B Tour! The love has been unreal, so we’re keeping it going and adding MORE DATES,” Usher wrote on Instagram. “The fans have made this tour what it is. We see you. Let’s keep making it BIGGER!”
Additionally, Usher and Brown will perform in Baltimore, Cincinnati, Indianapolis, and Columbia, S.C, according to Billboard.
Pre-sale tickets will go on sale on Ticketmaster starting on Wednesday (Aug. 19) at 10 a.m. local time, and the general public will have their chance on Aug. 24 at 10 a.m. local time.
After launching the tour in June, Usher and Brown are slated to hit Chicago (Aug. 21-22) and San Francisco (Aug. 28-29, Sept. 1) to close out the month, before ultimately wrapping up with a two-night finale at Tampa Bay’s Raymond James Stadium on Dec. 11-12.
The R&B Tour has become one of the biggest concert events of the year, grossing over $100 million across its first eight venues alone. The tour set historic attendance milestones—including becoming the first tour to play three consecutive nights at Detroit’s Ford Field. It also broke venue attendance records at Washington, D.C.’s Northwest Stadium.
The praise centers on its innovative format: rather than traditional back-to-back sets, Usher and Chris Brown trade off across nine cinematic acts during a seamless, three-hour production packed with hit songs and dance routines.
High-profile surprise guests like 50 Cent and Mary J. Blige have performed on shows.
