Usher is officially a married man!
The singer had reportedly married his longtime girlfriend, Jennifer Goicoechea, in Las Vegas before his Halftime Super Bowl performance. His new union was confirmed by multiple sources and the couple received their marriage license three days earlier.
After the game, Usher was seen wearing his gold wedding band, a black tuxedo, and a white fur coat. Jennifer was wearing an all-white pantsuit with an off the shoulder jacket that tied around the waist.
The newlyweds met in 2019 when they attended the same birthday party. They share two children together, 3-year-old Sovereign Bo, and 2-year-old Sire Castrello. Usher has two more children from a previous relationship.
In a previous interview, the “Confessions” singer spoke about his relationship with Jennifer and said that he was very happy and fortunate to have her.
“I have an amazing partner, a support system,” the singer said. “We have an amazing dynamic between our relationship where I’m able to be passionate still about what I do and have an incredible partner to work through some of the harder times as a young man dealing with children.”
He continued, “I’m very happy, very fortunate to have an incredible friend, not just a partner. She’s my best friend and I love her.”
