Usher will be honored by the Atlanta Braves at Truist Park. The event will take place on June 18, as the Braves are set to play against the New York Mets.
Reports reveal that the celebration will have a special Usher Bobblehead giveaway and many activations paying homage to the “Confessions” singer. The first 15,000 fans who arrive at Truist Park will receive the bobblehead, which features the singer doing the famous “Peace Up, A-Town Down” gesture.
The event will kick off with a pregame at The Battery Atlanta, where fans get to listen to a DJ play all of Usher’s biggest hits. Fans will also get a chance to enjoy foods named after some of Usher’s hits, including “My Way” Lemon Pepper Wings, “OMG” Fish and Grits, and “Yeah” Shrimp and Grits.
A collaboration collection between Usher and the Braves will also be released that same day at the Braves Clubhouse Store and Threads. This honor comes after Usher received an honorary doctorate from Emory University.
Congratulations to Usher!
