Vanessa Bryant wishes her late husband Kobe Bryant on what would’ve been his 45th birthday.
On her Instagram, she posted a series of photos of her and Kobe with the caption that reads “Happy birthday, baby. I love you always & forever. ❤️#82378.”
Kobe passed away tragically in a January 2020 helicopter accident alongside his 13-year-old daughter Gianna and seven other passengers.
The couple have four daughters and were married for two decades. Vanessa recently commemorated Kobe by continuing a tradition he started for daughter Natalia, 20, first day of school.
Natalia shared an Instagram story featuring a bouquet of roses her mom sent her and a note that read “Happy first day of school! Love you always, Daddy.”
She also collaborated with Nike for the release of the “Kobe 8 Protro: Halo.” This is the first sneaker from his line to be released since his passing. The white sneaker features hints of black accents and is set to have a limited release. The “halo” concept will be released annually on his birthday.
In March of 2022, Vanessa signed a new deal with Nike for 100 percent of the net proceeds of shoes to be donated to the Mamba and Mamabacita, which empowers youth sports.
