Tennis legend Venus Williams unveiled a series of never-before-seen engagement photographs. The images mark the first public look at her and fiancé Andrea Preti since their engagement at the start of the year. In her post’s caption, she wrote simply: “Engaged 1/31/25💫.”
A Picturesque Reveal
The photos show the couple posing in a lush gardenlike setting. Williams wears a white halter dress by Prada — a chic choice that underscores her distinctive bridal-style sensibility. Her senior dog, Harry, makes a cameo in one of the frames, adding a touching, personal detail to the portraits.
For many fans, the images serve as the first real glimpse into this new chapter of her life. The news — though first confirmed publicly in July — had largely stayed private until now.
Williams and Preti — an actor-producer — were first romantically linked in mid-2024 during a boating outing on Italy’s Amalfi coast. In February 2025, rumors of engagement swirled after Williams was spotted wearing a diamond ring on her left hand during training sessions in Rome. Their relationship remained mostly under the radar until July, when Williams publicly confirmed the engagement during a post-match interview following her win at the Mubadala Citi DC Open. At that time, she said: “My fiancé is here and he really encouraged me to keep playing.”
Reflecting on the challenge of returning to competitive tennis, she added: “There were so many times where I just wanted to coast and kind of chill… Do you know how hard it is to play tennis? … It’s 9 to 5 except you’re running the whole time.” She credited Preti’s support for helping her stay committed.
